European Narratology Network Conference "Limits of Narrative"
Stories are told everywhere, not only in literature and the arts, but also in everyday life, in business, medicine, law, politics, etc. However, the increasing use of the concept of ‘narrative’ weakens its usefulness as a category for knowledge production. Focusing on the topic of “Limits of Narrative,” the 8th conference of the European Network Narratology (ENN) is dedicated to innovative approaches to narrative phenomena. The conference takes place from September 29 to October 1, 2025 at Wuppertal’s Center for Narrative Research.
