100years ago the book

100years ago...

... is the name of our interview series, which UniService Transfer initiated in 2018 to look back once again at events that were of particular social relevance and whose development still influences our lives today in many areas. Often we are no longer even aware that many sciences are based on these original events. The transfer therefore searched for these completely different occasions and interviewed scientists of the Bergische Universität who, from today's point of view, dealt with the actual origins again. Across all faculties, a kaleidoscope of topics came together, which brings the long-forgotten back to the readers' attention and shows that every past always has a special meaning for our present.
