Diversity and Anti-Discrimination
The University of Wuppertal has adopted its new Gender Equality Strategy 2030. It provides the strategic framework for gender equality work over the next five years and, at the same time, reflects the university’s policy objective of further strengthening equality of opportunity as a hallmark of quality in research, teaching, knowledge transfer and university operations.
The University of Wuppertal’s Anti-Discrimination Policy aims to create an environment that is sensitive to issues of discrimination for all members and affiliates of the university. It serves to protect against and eliminate discrimination, harassment, violence, stalking and bullying at the university. It sets out measures to prevent and combat discrimination and provides information on rights, responsibilities, counselling services and channels for lodging complaints.
The Equal Opportunities Office has been publishing ‘magazIn’ since the 1998/1999 winter semester. The editors report on the latest news regarding equality policy across the university, international partnerships, interesting areas of research, events and much more.
