The digital semester ticket will be made available to you by the provider digital h after successful re-registration / enrolment from approx. four weeks before the start of the semester. You will receive an e-mail from the sender "ride-ticketing" with a link to download and activate the ticket to your university e-mail address. Please be sure to log in with your matriculation number[at]uni-wuppertal.de email address for the download, otherwise there will be problems with the retrieval.
Students who are enrolled after 15.03. or 15.09. will receive a provisional semester ticket with the confirmation of their enrolment.
- First check in StudiLöwe whether you are properly registered or re-registered (including the posting of your semester payment - please note that the semester fee must be paid exactly to the cent!)
- Check whether your mailbox is full. If this is the case, the e-mail cannot be delivered properly.
- Also check your spam folder.
- Check whether you may have had your matriculation number e-mail address forwarded to another e-mail address. If this is the case, update the e-mail address when forwarding.
ATTENTION: If you have checked the above points but still have not received the email, you can retrieve the ticket via this link: https://app.ride-ticketing.de/guest-app/buw/login . Please be sure to log in with your matriculation number[at]uni-wuppertal.de email address, otherwise you will have problems retrieving it.

You can integrate the ticket into the campus app and/or use it via the familiar wallet apps. Of course, the ticket is also still available as a ticket-to-print solution.
In the case of an application for exmatriculation, we require a printout of the valid ticket in addition to the exmatriculation application.

The semester ticket is valid for a summer semester from 01.04 and for a winter semester from 01.10.
If applicable, you will be shown several tickets (e.g. for the previous semester, current semester and/or the coming semester). Please note that you should always use the ticket with the currently valid period and also include it in apps, for example.
A possible name change will be taken into account accordingly in the campus management system. The semester ticket will be made available to you with a new name the next day, while your previous ticket will be automatically cancelled and no longer valid. For this purpose, you will receive another e-mail from our service provider (sender ride-ticketing) to your university e-mail address with a link to activate the ticket. Please click on this link to activate and download the ticket with the name change. The fact that you will also see the cancelled ticket (with your old name) next to the active ticket is normal and serves to make it transparent that a ticket saved under the old name may no longer be used in wallet-apps (or also as a print version) and that the ticket with the new name must be inserted in wallet-apps.
