Student admission and registration for international students
The student admission and registration for international students is a department of the University Administration and the contact for prospective students, applicants and students of all faculties of the Bergische Universität.
Tasks:
- Information and counselling for international prospective students on German language courses, the DSH examination and specialised studies in Wuppertal/Germany.
- Initial counselling of refugees on university admission in Germany/Wuppertal
- Admission, administration and support for foreign "Bildungsausländer" at Bergische Universität
- Admission, administration and supervision of international exchange students (Erasmus+, university partnerships)
- Organisation of introductory events, intercultural training and events on regional studies for international students
- Assessment of foreign educational certificates

Student Admission and Registration for International Students currently closed
Due to the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 virus and the measures to avoid social contacts, decided by the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia on Saturday, March 14th, 2020, the Student Admission and Registration for International Students will remain closed until further notice!
Enrolment documents must be sent via regular post to the Student Admission and Registration for International Students (as stated in the letter of admission)!
