In Wuppertal, the research centre founded at the University of Münster in 2008 is continued by the Department of General Educational Science / Theory of Education and headed by Thassilo Pol cik.
Through its networking with university research institutions worldwide and in cooperation with the International Society of Feuerbach Researchers, of which Thassilo Polcik has been President since October 2025, the Centre presents itself as an internationally important location for interdisciplinary discourse on the philosophy and theoretical legacy of Ludwig Feuerbach.
The Centre regularly organises lectures, workshops and conferences on Feuerbach and topics directly related to him, such as Young Hegelianism - Feuerbach was once a student of the philosopher Hegel - and the philosophy of education in the 19th century.
In cooperation with the Society of Feuerbach Researchers, the centre is also pursuing the establishment of an international library of Feuerbach research.
