Studying abroad opens up new perspectives and helps develop both professional and personal skills. The International Day ‘From the Wupper to the World’ showcases the opportunities available and explains how to prepare effectively for such a stay.
On Wednesday 4 November 2026, the International Office invites you to the foyer of Building K on the Grifflenberg Campus from 11 am to 4 pm. Various stands will provide information on exchange programmes, partner universities, funding opportunities and scholarships. In addition to university contact points, external partners will also be on hand to answer individual questions.
In the Senate Hall, the programme will be complemented by short talks on topics including intercultural encounters, ways to study abroad, school placements abroad and the BAILA La Plata exchange programme in Argentina. A talk on Erasmus+ is aimed specifically at university staff.
Whether you have specific plans or are simply looking for inspiration, International Day offers the opportunity to get an overview and clarify any questions you may have through direct conversation.
Date: Wednesday, 4 November 2026, 11.00 am to 4.00 pm
Venue: Foyer of Building K and the Senate Hall (K.11.07), Grifflenberg Campus, Gaußstraße 20
The full programme and further information are available on the International Day website.
