His talk focuses less on academic theories and more on questions that concern many people during their studies and beyond: How can one pursue one’s own goals? How can we cope with change? And how do our own perspectives influence our personal well-being? Kattilathu weaves together personal stories and humorous observations with reflections on courage, motivation and happiness.

At the end, there will be time for questions from the audience. These may relate to university studies and the future, personal goals, or the question of what constitutes a good and fulfilling life.

Kattilathu completed his PhD in 2017 at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics at the University of Wuppertal. His thesis examined which aspects of customer satisfaction are particularly relevant to the success of start-ups. Even whilst he was a student at the University of Wuppertal, Kattilathu was active as a lecturer and motivational coach.
