Invitation
"Respect is non-negotiable": Day of action against discrimination and sexualised violence

The focus is on the "Tilda" counselling bus from the Wuppertal Women's Counselling Centre, which will be making a stop on campus on this day. The bus was set up to provide mobile and low-threshold access to counselling services, especially for women who are less mobile or live in remote districts. In addition to information on the topics of sexualised violence, eating disorders and digital violence, Tilda also offers a safe space for those affected. On the day of the campaign, creative activities around the bus invite you to join in and design. Information will also be provided about anonymous forensics.
Other initiatives will be represented to enrich the programme:
- Inside:Out - das queere Zentrum Wuppertal e. V.: a lively meeting place for queer life, advice, exchange and culture. The centre brings together numerous queer initiatives and associations in Wuppertal and creates diverse spaces for encounters and community.
- Specialist centre against sexualised violence at Diakonie Wuppertal: offers support for victims, relatives and professionals. In addition to confidential individual counselling, the programme includes prevention workshops, specialist counselling for schools and clubs as well as a special offer for boys and male victims.
Further information on the programme and other events can be found on the website of the Anti-Discrimination Agency.
