Tuition and other fees - information for applicants
On registration and at the beginning of each further semester all students must pay a semester fee currently amounting to € 358.05. The semester fee covers the cost of free public transport with the Deutschlandticket, as well as student union and social fund contributions.
Re-registration deadlines
Re-registration is possible in due time:
- for a summer semester from mid-January until 15.02. each year
- for a winter semester from mid-June until 15.08. each year.
Additional fees for German course participants
Applicants for German language courses at the University of Wuppertal are required to pay a contributory fee of €500.00 on registraion and at the beginning of each further semester of the German course, in addition to the semester fee (currently € 303,40 - see above). You will receive payment details via email.

VERY IMPORTANT
Please do not enter any data other than the matriculation number in the reason for payment, as otherwise the automated allocation of your payment of the semester fee cannot take place and the issuing of the semester ticket, the study certificates and the student ID card can be considerably delayed as a result!
