Shaping the future
Open School Day at the University of Wuppertal provides information about engineering degree programmes

Get a taste of campus life and experience lots of exciting experiments that provide insights into studying at the University of Wuppertal - this is possible at the Open Day of the School of Electrical, Information and Media Engineering. For example, prospective students can learn more about virtual reality applications - how to design and use them, talk to chatbots and develop their own kits - at numerous interactive stations organised by the chairs. The team from the zdi Centre Bergisches Schul-Technikum (BeST) will once again provide support. There will also be exclusive insights into the schools' laboratories, which provide practical training during the degree programme.
The programme at the Open School Day also includes exciting short presentations and the faculty will be providing information about scholarships, everyday life at the university and career prospects at various information stands. The University of Wuppertal's Student Health Centre will be providing some variety with a number of activity stations; the Berger Gruppe will be providing a special kind of "hot wire". For refreshments, there will be cool drinks and something from the barbecue in the car park in front of the lecture hall centre, FZH building.
Curious to find out more? Just drop by! More information and details about the programme as well as impressions from last year can be found on the schools' website.
By the way: If you've got a taste for it afterwards, you can also pay a visit to the Grifflenberg campus. The Streetfood@Campus festival will take place there on 1 (and 2) July with a varied culinary offering.
