17.12.2025|15:00 Uhr

If you are interested in studying at the University of Wuppertal, the Study Information Days are the right place for you: from 26 January to 9 February, prospective students will receive all the information they need to make their decision. Lecturers and students, together with the central student guidance and counselling services, will present the university's degree programmes and subjects, give an insight into the rooms and facilities and answer questions. Short lectures and presentations give a lively impression of teaching and research. All events are offered in person at the three university locations and can be attended without prior registration.

During the Study Info Days 2026, the university is offering many opportunities to experience the subjects in practice. The school of mathematics and natural sciences will kick things off on 26 January from 2.30 p.m., providing insights into its wide range of subjects in Building K (Grifflenberg campus, Gaußstraße 20).

The opening programme will be enriched by information on scholarships with an information stand of the central student guidance and counselling services (ZSB).

Details of the complete programme and further information can be found on the event website: https://uni-w.de/l0ecx

A special and new feature of the Study Info Days 2026 is that, in addition to the specialist lectures on all Bachelor's degree programmes and sub-degree programmes, which will take place between 27 January and 5 February, there will also be a "Teacher Training Day" with an information fair and lectures on the opportunities to study to become a teacher at the University of Wuppertal. This will take place on Monday, 9 February, in Building K.

The ZSB student counsellors will be present at all lectures with general, interdisciplinary information. In addition, the ZSB offers two interdisciplinary lectures on the topics of study decisions and scholarships.

During the study information days and the entire orientation phase for the start of studies in the coming year, prospective students can also request individual or group appointments with all study counsellors via zsbtermin[at]uni-wuppertal.de or come to the ZSB premises. All contact information can be found on the ZSB website: https://uni-w.de/zsb-kontakt.

The study information days are part of the NRW-wide "Study Orientation Weeks". Further information can be found at studienorientierung-nrw.de/.
