On Wednesday, 10 December, from 2 p.m., Building K will be transformed into a festive Christmas village: with atmospheric music, culinary delights and other special programme items, the Campus Christmas Market invites you to enjoy a cosy get-together.

Organised by the student councils and university marketing, the University of Wuppertal wants to get students, employees and guests in the mood for the Christmas season. Whether it's fragrant mulled wine, hot cocoa, crispy bratwurst or sweet treats - there's something for everyone here. Between festive decorations and atmospheric sounds from the music education programme, the anticipation of Christmas can be experienced in a particularly wonderful way.

A highlight right at the beginning: at 2.30 pm, the Third Mission Volunteer Award will be presented in the foyer. This honours the extraordinary social commitment that makes a valuable contribution to connecting the university and society beyond studies and work - a beautiful symbol of living together at Christmas.

End of the year in a festive atmosphere

It continues in the evening: from 5 pm, the alumni and FABU community as well as the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship holders will meet at the Christmas market to ring in the end of the year together in a festive atmosphere.

And of course there will be other special extras: a Christmas photo box for festive memories and the brand new Christmas mug at the university shop stand - perfect for your own desk or as a gift.
