In short, entertaining contributions, students present current events, offers and highlights around the university and in the Bergisch city-triangle. The format is intended to show how diverse, lively and approachable life at the University of Wuppertal is - beyond the lecture halls and exam stress.
"With Campus News, we are creating a communication channel that is authentic and likeable," says Social Media Manager Karsten Kukulies. "The format strengthens identification with the university and makes visible what makes our campuses special."
Humour, spontaneity and closeness
Campus News focuses on a relaxed, humorous tone, spontaneity and genuine proximity to the target group. Four students present the tips in alternating teams of two. Each episode is around five minutes long and shows what is happening on and around campus over the next two weeks. The format is produced by the university information and media centre (ZIM).
All previous and future episodes are available on the University of Wuppertal's Instagram channel to see.
