The book takes the reader into Vito's stream of thought: out of the icy flat in Kreuzberg, in search of meaning and closeness, haunted by memories of his deceased mother and driven by longing, tests of courage and restlessness. Anton Weil succeeds in bringing together the major themes of his generation in a colourful, captivating narrative style.
