The workshop provides key insights into expectations and cultural characteristics in Germany – from perceptions of Germany and so-called “German work virtues” such as punctuality and orderliness to communication styles, hierarchies and dealing with bureaucracy. Its aim is to help participants avoid misunderstandings and, through personal initiative, develop a successful integration plan for their workplace, university and everyday life.
