Two professors of the University of Wuppertal successful in WirtschaftsWoche's business administration ranking

The recently published ranking of the magazine WirtschaftsWoche assesses the research performance of people in the field of business administration (BWL) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Two professors from the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics, Prof Dr Dirk Briskorn and Prof Dr Stefan Bock, are among the prominent names in the ranking.

Prof. Dr Dirk Briskorn (Chair of Production and Logistics) takes 19th place in the "Lifetime Achievement" ranking and is therefore in the top 0.39 per cent. Prof. Dr Stefan Bock (Chair of Information Systems and Operations Research) achieved 112th place in the "Lifetime Achievement" ranking, placing him in the top 2.3 per cent. The "Lifetime Achievement" ranking assesses the total publication output of the 4958 people included.

Prof Briskorn also achieved 16th place (top 0.43 per cent) in the "Pioneer" ranking. This is based on the research output of 3723 people in the last five years (2020 to 2024).
