Nationally funded large-scale projects

In addition to the many collaborative projects in various formats and the EU-funded large-scale projects, a large number of nationally funded large-scale projects are being carried out at the University of Wuppertal. On the following pages you will find a selection of the large-scale projects funded by the federal ministries and the Academies' Programme. Large-scale projects funded by the DFG can be found here.

Academies' Programme

The collective research programme of the science academies - the Academies' Programme - serves to develop, preserve and visualise worldwide cultural traditions. It is currently the largest long-term research programme in the Federal Republic of Germany for basic research in the humanities and social sciences and is coordinated by the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities. The eight academies that are members of the Academies' Union and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina are responsible for the programme and the implementation of the projects.
