RKI recommendation for international students vaccinated with vaccine not licensed in the EU

19.10.2021|09:48 Uhr

With the help of the 3G rule (vaccinated, tested, recovered), students are able to spend as much time as possible in the classroom.

Dear international students and new students,

As you have probably already heard, there will be more presence at the University of Wuppertal in the winter semester 2021/22. We are very pleased about this! With the help of the 3G rule (vaccinated, tested, recovered), students will be able to attend as much as possible.

We would like to inform you that for those of you who have been vaccinated with a vaccine that is not approved in the EU, the Robert Koch Institute recommends a medical consultation regarding a complete vaccination with an approved vaccine. This is the only way to ensure comprehensive vaccination protection against the SARS-CoV-2 virus and to recognise the persons concerned as vaccinated.

Please consider this a recommendation that we encourage you to make in order to provide all BUW students with the best possible protection against infection by the coronavirus and to continue to be able to attend as much as possible.

Stay healthy!
