The University of Wuppertal is involved in various EU funding programs and funding lines, e.g.
- Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe framework programs for research and innovation: ERC projects, Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) as well as European Innovation Council (EIC) projects, mobility measures (MSCA), infrastructure projects, other collaborative projects and partnerships.
- Erasmus+ projects: Individual mobility, strategic partnerships, sports, Jean Monnet Actions, capacity building projects, Erasmus Master Mundus.
In the area of European structural funding, projects of the EFRE.NRW (2014-2020) and EFRE/JTF (2021-2027) programs are co-financed by the EU's European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
