Academic and Student Affairs

The Academic and Student Affairs division advises the university management on essential questions relating to university law and university policy, develops drafts of central regulations and statutes, and is responsible for organising and holding elections for the governing boards. It supports the activities of the University Council, Senate, Rectorate and Regional Advisory Council, and is responsible for publishing the university's official announcements.

The division conducts the admissions procedure for courses where numbers are limited, and is responsible for registrations, acknowledgements, sabbaticals and withdrawals.

It supports the process of internationalising studies and teaching at the university by providing information and advice for internal and external target groups and implementing the university management’s strategic goals while tapping appropriate sources of financing and performing international university marketing activities. International university relationships/partnerships and outgoing/incoming mobility are managed and coordinated by this division.

It assists the examination boards with the performance of their administrative tasks and acts as the contact for issues relating to examination legislation.
