Transfer strategy
In its mission statement, which was adopted in 2009 and updated in 2015, Bergische Universität had already anchored an expanded understanding of transfer as a third central mission ("Third Mission") - in addition to the traditional university core tasks of research and teaching. The transfer strategy derived from this and put on paper here has also been developed with the active involvement of many, very different organizational members and committees
Transfer priorities
In order to initiate transfer mechanisms in social, cultural and political relations, the university contacts non-university partners in the various fields and stands ready as their contact.
