Certificate of enrolment

A few days after transferring the semester fee, you can print out your study certificates yourself via StudiLöwe, provided that your transfer could be assigned to your matriculation number. 

Please note: If you are a new student or a returning student, you will not receive your certificate of enrollment until the beginning of the semester on 01.10. for the winter semester or 01.04. for the summer semester. If you need a certificate of study before this date, please send us an e-mail to intsek[at]uni-wuppertal.de

Student ID

Once you have re-registered, you will receive your student ID card by post from mid-March for a summer semester and from mid-September for a winter semester to the address provided via your StudiLöwe account at that time. Changes to your postal address are possible via the StudiLöwe portal. Log in there with your matriculation number and your ZIM PIN (if you have already replaced this with a personal password, please use this). Under the menu item "My studies" ⇒ "Student services" you can change your contact details.

If you have not received your student ID card by the beginning of the semester or, in the case of later payment of the semester fee, by four weeks after your transfer at the latest, please contact the Student Admission and registration for international students immediately.

Semesterticket

The digital semester ticket will be made available to you by the provider digital h after successful re-registration / enrollment from about four weeks before the start of the semester. You will receive an e-mail from the sender "ride-ticketing" with a link to download and activate the ticket to your university e-mail address. Please log in for the download with your matriculation number[at]uni-wuppertal.de - email address, otherwise there will be problems with the download.

Students who are enrolled after 15.03. or 15.09. will receive a provisional semester ticket with the confirmation of their enrollment.

If you did not receive said E-Mail, please check the following:

  • First, check in StudiLöwe whether you are properly registered or re-registered (including the entry of your semester payment - please note that the semester fee must be paid exactly to the cent).
  • Check whether your mailbox is full. In this case, the e-mail cannot be delivered properly.
  • Also check your spam folder.
  • Check if your E-Mails are being redirected. If so, please check if they are being redirected to the right E-Mail address

ATTENTION: If you have checked the above points but still have not received the e-mail, you can retrieve the ticket via this link: app.ride-ticketing.de/guest-app/buw/login . Please make sure to log in with your matriculation number[at]uni-wuppertal.de e-mail address, otherwise you will have problems retrieving the ticket.

You can integrate the ticket into the campus app and/or use it via the familiar wallet apps. Of course, the ticket is still available as a ticket-to-print solution.

In the case of an application for de-registration, we require a printout of the valid ticket in addition to the de-registration application.

The semester ticket is valid for a summer semester from 01.04. and from 01.10. for a winter semester.

If applicable, you will be shown several tickets (e.g. for the previous semester, current semester and/or the coming semester). Please note that you should always use the ticket with the currently valid period and also include it in apps, of course.
